      This product is amazing! My dog is very scared of nail clippers so I had to look for an alternative. After slow introductions with this nail grinder, he allowed me to get close to his nails and even fell asleep while I was grinding them!!       Excellent use with Frenchies. Capable of using while they are even sleeping. So, excited to have gotten this product. Love the upgrades. Quiet and simple. Saving money on nail trims now. You will need to keep doing this with your pet each night or every other to keep those nails trimmed down.

      It took a little treat training to get him used to the sound, but he seems to welcome trims now. Lower speeds are great for puppy nails too. Just make sure you hold the individual toe so the nail doesn’t get pulled in. Even then, as long as the speed is slow, it doesn’t cause harm.

      Although my pup isn’t too sure about this, I love it! This is my second nail grinder I bought. The first one struggled with her thick nails and was dying, plus it was loud which I think freaked her out. This works great on her thicker nails and is pretty quiet. The light is nice to have so you can see what you are doing. The multiple speeds is also great. The old one only had 3 speeds and would stop working if there was too much pressure on it. It’s pretty heavy duty.

      I was skeptical when I purchased this. Had never used a grinder for dog nails. With lots of treats all my dogs have always tolerated clipping. However I was impressed by the quiet, gentle function of this. My dog just lays comfortably while I do all her nails. Still do treats so she will love it. Started a low speed and short times so it doesn’t get hot. But after a few months of every 10-14 days of gradually grinding down, now her nails are short and quiet. No bleeding no yelping.
